Jody Mugford has a BA in Business and Humanities from Providence College and a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. She is the wife of Dr. Mugford and the Co-Founder of the Mugford Center and the Mugford Education Center.

In addition to her role as CFO, Jody is also the Coordinator of the Triple Crown Study Club and the Triple Crown Hygiene Study Club. The study club is a group of exceptional Dentists and Hygienists who meet throughout the year for continuing education meetings, learning from masters of dentistry, and from and with each other. The Triple Crown Study Club is dedicated to teaching comprehensive treatment planning which enables dentists to work closely with one another to provide the best possible care for their patients.

Jody enjoys being outdoors, hiking, tennis, reading and spending time with her family, and friends.

Sarah has a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science Administration from James Madison University.

Sarah enjoys hiking, cooking, and playing with her dog Ace.

The thing that Sarah enjoys most about working at the Mugford Center is the people she works with and the ability to help people get healthier.

Sherri has over 30 years’ experience as a Dental Hygienist and has been with The Mugford Center since it was founded. Sherri is certified in CPR and Local Anesthetics.

Sherri enjoys cooking, gardening, walking her dogs and hanging out with family and friends.

The things that Sherri likes best about working at the Mugford Center is that: “We have a positive impact on our patients’ lives and I enjoy helping our patients and working with caring and highly skilled doctors.

Gwen has had 28 years of experience working at the Mugford Center. Gwen is certified in Local Anesthetics and in CPR.

Gwen enjoys hiking, kayaking, camping and attending local music events.

The thing that Gwen likes best about the Mugford Center is that: “I work with the best of the best! The Mugford Center feels like home”.

Emily is certified in Phlebotomy, local anesthetics, Nightlase, Smoothlase, Liplase, and ERYAG peel.

Emily enjoys cooking, reading, working out and traveling

The things that Emily likes best about working at the Mugford Center is that: “We have a total health centered approach to our patient care and are able to build incredible relationships with our patients and one another through honest and health centered communication.”

Nichelle has been a Certified Expanded Function Dental Assistant.  She holds a Radiology license and is certified in Phlebotomy, IV sedation and CPR.

Nichelle is a big Orioles and Capitals fan. She enjoys traveling with her boyfriend. They have been to 20 states and 3 countries and enjoy seeing different baseball stadiums. So far they have been to 13 out of 30 stadiums in the US. Nichelle also enjoys hiking and kayaking in the summer and ice skating in the winter. Nichelle says that family time is the most important thing to her.

What Nicelle likes best about working at the Mugford Center is: “The passion both Dr. Mugford and Dr. Bruce have for dentistry and providing information so patients understand what is happening with procedures. I also appreciate the opportunity to gain extra knowledge and learn new skills for my position.”

Kelsey is a Certified Expanded Function Dental assistant, she holds a license in Radiology, Phlebotomy, Sedation IV and CPR.

Kelsey loves to watch horror movies, listen to music, play video games with her daughter and attend murder mysteries and comedy shows.

The things that Kelsey likes best about working at the Mugford Center is: “In my role as Surgical Assistant, I am able to help other people and show them that it is not so scary to go to the dentist. I also love the education that we provide to our patients.”

Laurie is a Certified Expanded Function Dental Assistant who also holds a license in Radiology,  and is certified in Phlebotomy, Sedation IV and CPR.

Laurie loves to read and write and she has a goal to start running again.

The thing that Laurie likes best about working at the Mugford Center is: “The challenges and support that I receive  from the team while navigating my way through life and the things I have learned to improve who I am as a person.”

Erick has been a Certified Dental Surgical Assistant for four years. He holds a dental radiology license and is certified in phlebotomy and IV insertion, and in CPR and Advanced and Basic Life Support. Erick is bilingual, in English and Spanish.

Erick enjoys fishing and making trips to the hardware store. He enjoys working on cars and anything that has to do with tools. Erick is continuing his educational journey with Radiology at Howard Community College.

The thing that Erick likes best about working at the Mugford Center is: “I can truly appreciate the care and the time both Dr. Mugford and Dr. Bruce take in order to aid and guide patients in the right direction toward a happier and healthier smile.”

Ashley is a Certified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. She is certified in Phlebotomy, IV Sedation and CPR.

Ashley enjoys hiking, traveling and her goal is to get a degree in Environmental Studies

The thing that Ashley likes best about working at the Mugford Center is that the Doctors are very education focused.

Cristin has a Bachelor of Arts in Music and is certified in CPR. Cristin likes to attend concerts and music festivals. She enjoys listening to music and audiobooks and spending time with friends and family.

The thing that Cristin likes best about working at the Mugford Center is: “ I love working with Doctors who show true care and compassion for their employees and patients.”

Ashleigh has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Biology, Chemistry and Philosophy and a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. She is certified in Phlebotomy, and CPR.

Ashleigh is a heavy metal and hard rock concert enthusiast. She loves sports and she has a small homestead with chickens, bees and a fruit and vegetable garden.

The things that Asheligh likes best about working at the Mugford Center is: “I love seeing the overall changes of our patients, especially those who began treatment with dental anxiety. I love seeing the trust build between those patients and our team and then seeing them leave with beautiful smiles.”

Sumner has 14 years of Insurance Processing  experience along with patient care and Internal Marketing. Sumner is also certified in CPR.

Sumner is interested in improving her overall health and wellness. She enjoys Aqua Zumba and spending time with her family. Sumner is married and has two daughters, Valyn and Zora.

Cole’s area of expertise is in 3D printing.

Cole enjoys drawing, miniature paintings and reading history books.
